Every route into the Afrikons newsroom, and what to expect once your message lands.

We'd rather you emailed the right desk than the loudest one. Pick the route below that matches what you're sending — it gets your message in front of the person who can actually do something with it. Individual staff can be reached at firstname.lastname@afrikons.example.

How to send a secure tip

If the material you're sharing could put your job or safety at risk, don't send it from a work laptop, a work phone, or a work email account. Company devices and networks are usually logged, and that log is the first place anyone looks.

Use a personal device on a network that isn't your employer's. Create a fresh email account that isn't tied to your name or phone number, and write to securetips@afrikons.example. Tell us how you'd like to be contacted back, and how much detail we can safely repeat.

We don't publish a tipster's identity, and we don't confirm to anyone that you contacted us. Where a document could identify the person who handled it, we describe it rather than reproduce it. If we can't protect you, we'd rather not run the story.

Please don't send anything you obtained by breaking into a system — we can't use it, and it puts you at legal risk we can't shield you from.
